Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is a famous American actress. She is most famous for her performance in the film Cowboys and Aliens, The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actor who is active in the world of television and movies. She gained fame for her work in the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi drama Timeless. Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut with a character in the soap opera All My Children. She was awarded a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Most Outstanding Female Newcomer. She tended to play guest roles over the course of several years. Her role as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne was praised by the audience. With her amazing looks and acting talent, she slowly gained a massive fan base. The film she made her debut at the age of twenty playing part in the film Campfire Stones. Her other roles in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. For her part in Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the program Timeless it was her character of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer is receiving positive feedback by critics for her part in the sci-fi series Timeless. In addition, she was selected for nominations for a Teen Choice Award.
